Now the solar revolution is taking place all over the world. People are realizing that they have lots of sources of power for production of electricity. Till then all were depending on coal, oil and other natural resources for power production .All these sources of energy are used for lighting our homes, supplying power for our home appliances and even fuelling our cars and other vehicles. Fossil fuels need to undergo combustion for producing power. This combustion process takes place and is used to drive different vehicles.
Burning of these kinds of fuels will release various types of gases to the atmosphere, especially, carbon dioxide. Carbon dioxide is essential for the atmosphere, but there must be a balance in the amount of gases that must be present in the atmosphere. But if it exceeds that, then it may cause lots of trouble in the atmosphere as well as the earth. These gases are being released in an enormous amount nowadays because of the airplanes, cars, trucks, bikes, and other vehicles. This has become a serious problem nowadays. So people are looking for alternate sources like the solar energy and trying to promote them all over the world to put a full stop to these problems.
Solar power is generated from the energy of the sun which is a renewable source and which will cause no harm to the environment. The rays from the sun will fall on the solar panels which will store the energy and then convert it into electricity and supply that power for our homes. It is very cheap and reliable source, but it can produce power only at day times, but you can store the extra amount of energy at day time and then use it at night times also.
One best way of storing this energy is by connecting your solar panel to the grid, which acts as the Solar battery. In this way, you can also send the extra energy to the local electrical company which will make the meter run backward. You can sell your energy by this way. This type of work is called net metering. You can also use rechargeable solar batteries. They have short life and are expensive also. So better do not go for rechargeable solar batteries. They are lithium ion batteries. They will provide good storage and will charge very slowly. You can better go for ideal solar battery which has good storage capacity of power and high charging speed.
